Deborah V. Coleman, and her daughter Appollonia Washington, the owners of A 4 Apple learning center, have dedicated themselves to preschool education. A4 Apple Learning Center has served the community for 25 years. Since 1994, A4 Apple has been devoted to providing outstanding and unique preschool education and daycare service, and especially aims to assist low-income families.
The mission of A 4 Apple is to provide high-quality programs for toddler and preschool in a supportive, safe learning environment, to create a home away from home. Deborah and Appollonia have owned and operated this business together for over a decade and are ready to serve more families.
A4 Apple has collaborated with municipal, state, civic, education, and healthcare partners to successfully deliver high-quality, culturally-relevant children’s programs to over 300 low- to middle-income parents and children of color in the Seattle Metro Area. A4 Apple is registered and certified as an Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) provider, and is one of five newly certified City of Seattle Preschool Program Contractors. The business is currently rated at Level 3 - demonstrating high quality - in WA’s Early Achievers (EA) Quality Assurance System. They will continue to provide the quality of service that A4 Apple’s full-day/year-round home childcare for 18months to 5-year-olds has provided for years.
OUR MISSION
The mission of A 4 Apple Family Learning Center is to provide high-quality toddler and preschool programming and childcare in a supportive, safe learning environment - “a home away from home.” We value providing a variety of age-, developmentally-, and styles-appropriate, culturally responsive, and research-based toddler and preschool activities with a focus on early literacy development and successful transition to elementary school and a foundation for lifelong learning.
